VSWR bridges
The VSWR bridge for HF (left picture) uses Stockton Bridge.
Use your favorite search engine
to get more information on the Stockton Bridge eg. at
the site of G4FON.
The F37-43 toroids have 10 turns, the case is from an old TV tuner.
The VSWR bridge for VHF/UHF is from a 27 mc VSWR meter. The PL239
connectors are replaced by BNC connectors, the diodes are replaced by BAT43
Schottky diodes. It's not perfect, but usable for 2m and 70cm.
The VSWR bridges do not have panel meters. Use whatever is on hand to measure
forward and reverse voltages. I used an
AD converter and a
small PC program to get a reading om my old
386 laptop.
